The below guidelines are meant to serve as a quick guide to the fundamental commitments of the Affiliate under its agreement with GAN Partners. These sole guidelines do not constitute the agreement between GAN Partners and the Affiliate. The Terms and Conditions of the GAN Partners Affiliate Program (i.e. the Agreement) shall supersede any provision hereunder at all times.

This guide covers the advertising rules for all types of advertising such as (but not limited to) banners, text links, mailers, reviews, native ads and SMS send outs. These rules must be followed by all affiliates under the GAN Partners program. If breached, your GAN Partners account might be closed and depending on the severity of the breach, pending commissions may not be paid out. Any eventual fine from the regulators due to incorrect or bad behaviour from an affiliate might be partly or fully passed on to the affiliate.

General Guidelines (all GEOs)

  • Adverts and promotions shall always be communicated in accordance with the GAN Partners' efforts to promote social responsibility and responsible gambling
  • Advertisements shall by no means intend to confuse or mislead players
  • All advertisements need to clearly state that "T&C apply" and include all information about the promotions advertised, including but not limited to wagering, deposit and free spins requirements
  • All mentions of GAN Partners brands need to clearly state 18+ and T&C apply

United Kingdom

  • Only SEO and PPC traffic allowed
  • Unless explicitly and in writing approved by a manager at GAN partners, no SMS, Email, Social, Native or any kind of direct marketing is allowed
  • All sources and changes need to be cleared by your affiliate manager before anything goes live
  • All advertisement need to clearly state the key qualifying criteria (KQC) of the bonus(es) advertised

Rules for any kind of Send outs

  • Only customers that have positively opted-in in accordance with the requirements of GDPR to receive marketing materials can be targeted
  • Send outs shall have an unsubscribe-link which would enable the customer to opt out of receiving any marketing material in the future
  • The text to be sent to the Customers shall always to be approved by your affiliate manager at GAN Partners
  • All communications shall expressly provide that the sender is not GAN Partners

Advertising standards

All advertising of gambling products and services must be undertaken in a socially responsible manner, and comply with the advertising codes of practice issued by the Committee of Advertising Practice (CAP) and the Broadcast Committee of Advertising Practice (BCAP). Therefore, marketing communications may not;

  • Be directed at those aged below 18 years through the selection of media or context in which they appear
  • Portray or encourage gambling behaviour that is socially irresponsible or could lead to financial, social or emotional harm
  • Exploit the susceptibilities, aspirations, credulity, inexperience or lack of knowledge of children, young persons or other vulnerable persons
  • Suggest that gambling can provide an escape from personal, financial, professional or educational problems such as loneliness or depression
  • Link gambling to seduction, sexual success or enhanced attractiveness
  • Portray gambling in a context of toughness or link it to resilience or recklessness
